Brightwater Sponsors Spoonbill Sunset Supper at Kiawah River

Brightwater was a proud sponsor of the first annual Spoonbill Sunset Supper at Kiawah River benefitting the South Carolina Wildlife Federation. This meaningful evening brought together the local community to raise over $10,000 to support the conservation and restoration of South Carolina’s wildlife and natural habitats. It’s a cause that’s close to hearts on the Brightwater team rooted in a shared belief that the spaces we create must honor both the people who live in them and the natural environment that surrounds them. The Spoonbill Sunset Supper offered a unique opportunity to come together with the community to celebrate, connect, and work toward a more sustainable future where communities and nature thrive in harmony.

Hosted at The Goatery at Kiawah River, the event offered guests a thoughtfully-curated four-course dinner with with wine pairings, crafted by Chef Marvin Ross, along with a signature Spoonbill-inspired cocktail not to mention a stunning sunset view as dusk slipped slowly into evening under the stars. The South Carolina Wildlife Federation is the state’s oldest conservation group established in 1931 and committed to conserving and restoring South Carolina’s wildlife and wildlife habitat through education and advocacy.
