Responsibilities
- Assist with interior finish selections for luxury residential homes, including:
- Flooring
- Tile
- Cabinetry
- Plumbing fixtures
- Lighting
- Countertops
- Paint and exterior color palettes
- Support the preparation of design boards
- Maintain and organize the design studio, sample library, and vendor materials
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and trade partners regarding product availability and lead times
- Attend construction walkthroughs and site visits to verify design implementation and field conditions
- Support the preparation of change orders and selection documentation
- Research current residential design trends, materials, and products
- Help ensure selections align with Brightwaters’ brand standards and curated design vision
- Perform administrative and organizational tasks related to design operations as needed
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field
- Strong interest in luxury residential design and homebuilding
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, AutoCAD, or similar design software preferred
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Positive attitude with willingness to learn and collaborate
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Portfolio or examples of creative work preferred but not required
