Brightwater Returns as Sponsor of the 2026 Spoonbill Sunset Supper

Brightwater was proud to return as a sponsor of the second annual Spoonbill Sunset Supper benefitting the South Carolina Wildlife Federation. This year’s event raised $16,000 to support the conservation and restoration of South Carolina’s wildlife and natural habitats.

Guests gathered at long, candlelit tables for an evening of good food, good company, and a shared appreciation for the natural world. Chef de Cuisine Matthew Mohler’s five-course menu took its inspiration from birds native to the region, from the Roseate Spoonbill to the Prairie Warbler, with wine pairings from fellow sponsors Greenwing and Decoy.

A Commitment Rooted in Place

At Brightwater, we believe the spaces we create should honor both the people who live in them and the natural environment that surrounds them. That belief shapes how we design and build, and it’s why supporting organizations like SCWF matters to our team. Founded in 1931, SCWF is South Carolina’s oldest conservation group, working to protect the state’s wildlife and habitat through education and advocacy.

Returning as a sponsor for a second year reflects a commitment we plan to keep. The landscapes that make the Lowcountry special are worth protecting, and we’re grateful to be part of a community that shows up for them.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, to our fellow sponsors, and to the SCWF team for another meaningful evening. To learn more about SCWF’s work, visit scwf.org.
